About Us

NPOS is is a not-for-profit regional organization with membership from the states of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Washington, Oregon and the Canadian provinces of British Columbia and Alberta.  The Society provides members education, networking, mentoring, and developmental programs for our orthopaedic community.  The purpose of the Society shall be to advance the science and art of orthopaedics by education of the membership through the exchange of ideas in the prevention and treatment of diseases of the musculoskeletal system and associated structures, and the alleviation and treatment of trauma.

The North Pacific Orthopaedic Society membership includes:
  • All official publications of the Society
  • Voting privileges on committes of the Society
  • Attendance at conferences and other unrestricted activities of the Society
  • Regular Society Communications
  • Access to members-only information
